I just recently came across this website which has a great article on some creative ways to use technology to develop higher level thinking skills. I particularly liked the One Minute Video and Five Picture Story ideas. These are alternatives to traditional pen and paper activities that are easy to share on a classroom website. Check it out!
BTW, I found this site from a tweet from someone I follow on Twitter. If you haven't established a Twitter account and found some good educational technology people to follow, you should get yourself set up. A good way to build your twitter feed is simply click on the Twitter icon on a webpage that you like. After a while you will find that you have built up a pretty robust list.
