I recently came across a free iPad app that 1) has some cool capabilities and 2) might be a useful classroom tool. The app is called MyScript Calculator ... Basically, it turns handwritten text into a mathematical calculation. And, fortunately for me, it is very forgiving in its handwriting recognition. Feel free to post ideas about how you might be able to use this in your classroom. Check of the demo below:
